Welcome to Bientang's Cave - the best shore based whale watching restaurant in South Africa, based in Hermanus in the Western Cape. A seafood restaurant serving only the best calamari, prawns, oysters and fresh line fish daily. Bientang's Cave is set in an historical cave on the rocks in the centre of Hermanus town where whales can be seen frolicking alongside the rocks from the restaurant. Healthy portions and excellent service compliment the fantastic view.
We cater for Tour Groups for both lunches and dinners and for Private Celebrations, Corporate Events, Charity events and Product Launches in the evenings.
Open daily for Lunch from 12 pm until 4pm and Dinners for functions for groups over 35 guests by prior arrangement.
