The story of Creation Wines is as old as the hills - dating back to when Mother Nature created South Africa’s beautiful Heaven-and-Earth Valley and bestowed upon it exceptional winegrowing conditions.
In combining the rich gifts of nature and our unique terroir with the considerable skills of our dedicated team, Creation strives to reward the lover of fine wines. Here, high up on the scenic Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge, every dawn brings an exciting new challenge and innovation is a way of life. This trendsetting spirit has shaped our vision and led to many a thrilling achievement as reflected in our impressive list of wine awards. Wilderness to Wine Farm In 2002 Jean-Claude and Carolyn Martin took up the challenge of establishing a winery in the Walker Bay Wine Region. Creating Wines of Distinction Our modern cellar, completed in 2007, features state-of-the-art equipment imported from Europe. A Heavenly Setting Situated high up the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge near Hermanus, Creation’s vines climb the steep hills of Babylon Toren Mountain. An Ode to Nature To acknowledge the role Mother Nature plays in our success, Creation is committed to conserving our natural heritage.
